Salty Sea Carmel Snickerdoodle Pirate Cookies

Fer the little mates and sober sailors, these salty-sweet biscuits shine like sand dollars in the tide. Crunchy, golden, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, and laced with caramel gems from Trader Joe’s own treasure vault.

PIRATE COOKIES!

No rum, no risk, just pure joy for young’uns, mermaids, and pirates who’ve had their fill o’ grog. These be the cookies that keep spirits high, without sendin’ ye overboard.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks o’ softened butter

  • 1 ½ cups sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 ½ cups flour

  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup salted caramel chips (the true treasure of the Trader’s Isle)

  • Cinnamon-sugar mix (3 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Ready the galley fires: Heat oven to 375°F, line yer baking sheets with parchment.

  2. Beat the captain’s brew: Cream butter and sugar ‘til fluffy as sails in fair wind. Add eggs ‘n vanilla, stir smooth.

  3. Mix dry cargo: Flour, powders, soda, and salt together in a separate barrel.

  4. Bring the crews together: Stir dry into wet, fold in caramel chips last — guard ‘em, lest the cabin boys eat ‘em raw.

  5. Roll yer treasure: Scoop dough into balls, roll in cinnamon-sugar like they be golden doubloons.

  6. Bake ‘em hot: 9–11 minutes ‘til edges crisp and centers set.

  7. Guard the chest: Cool just a moment, then serve before the crew mutinies.
