Creating a Deliciously Fun Life
Food • Creativity • Healing • Adventure • Reinvention
Welcome! I'm Tré Taylor—a writer, singer-songwriter, creator, foodie, traveler, and lifelong student of transformation.
I believe there's almost always another way.
Through stories, science, creativity, practical wisdom, and a healthy dose of love, music, food, art, and fun, I help people discover new possibilities for living well—even when life doesn't go according to plan.
My passion is connecting ideas that move us from helplessness to hope, from hope to possibility, and from possibility to a life that feels healthier, wealthier, more meaningful, and joyfully authentic.
A few years ago, I hit pause on hustle culture and began rebuilding my life from the ground up. What started as survival slowly became something much more beautiful—a journey of curiosity, healing, resilience, and discovering what truly matters.
Today I share recipes, stories, creative projects, adventures, practical tools, and the lessons I'm learning along the way.
Whether you're here because you're reinventing your life, looking for inspiration, curious about the future, or simply searching for one good idea that helps today feel a little lighter, I hope you leave with more possibilities than you had when you arrived.
Pull up a chair. The traveling table is always open.
With love, music, food, art, fun... and the belief that there is another way.

💗 From The Nomad Kitchen: A Little Love for Dolly💗
This Labor Day weekend brought two new recipes to The Nomad Kitchen, inspired by one of my favorite humans and greatest musical influences, the incomparable Dolly Parton. I got my hands on a box of her Sweet Cornbread & Muffin Mix and, naturally, I had to fluff it up—with creamed corn, sharp cheddar and a little extra love. The result was ridiculously moist, tender cornbread and the sweetest little muffins. Dolly's music, humor, generosity, courage and enormous heart have inspired me both personally and musically, and although she will be deeply missed, what she gave the world will live on forever.
So put on your favorite Dolly song, turn up the oven and make something delicious in her honor. 💗🌽🎶
And because good cornbread deserves something fabulous melting on top, we also made Ginger-Vanilla Whipped Honey Butter—creamy butter whipped with gorgeous ginger honey, pure vanilla and a touch of salt. 🍯🐝 It's an easy, affordable little luxury to make for yourself and an especially lovely homemade gift when you need something thoughtful without spending a fortune. Slather it over warm cornbread, muffins, biscuits, toast or anything that could use a little sweetness. Come discover both new recipes, their stories and a little celebration of the beautiful Dolly Parton at The Nomad Kitchen. Live a Deliciously Fun Life—with Love • Music • Food • Art • Fun. 💗 — Tré Taylor |

🌿 I Am the Safe Place🌿
What if healing isn't about becoming tougher, fearless or impossible to trigger?
What if it's about creating enough room inside yourself that fear doesn't get to make every decision?
In my newest essay, I share one of the biggest realizations of my own reinvention: I didn't become harder. I became harder to destabilize.
This is a story about solitude, nervous-system regulation, boundaries, self-worth, love, laughter and the strange little steel chrysalis that helped me discover something I had spent a lifetime looking for outside myself.
I know where home is now.
And perhaps the most beautiful part is that finding yourself doesn't mean shutting everyone else out.
It means you can finally open the door without disappearing when somebody walks through it.
🐆 Fresh from the Gratitude Tour…
After one hell of a beautiful run, Leopard Lounge Camp is officially closing its Strawberry Music Festival chapter—but the leopard is most definitely not retiring.
I’ve updated The Fancy Watering Hole in the Woods with a few thank-yous I wasn’t finished saying, some love for the extraordinary humans who helped make the magic—including my dear adventure companion Mark Yee—and a glimpse of where Leopard Lounge may wander next.
There was music, friendship, transformation, a total solar eclipse, a bacon-grease baptism and enough fabulous nonsense to last several lifetimes. 😂
🥓🎻 Come take one last walk through the watering hole with me. The next campfire is already somewhere ahead. 🐆❤️✨

🐾 Surf, Sunshine & Wagging Tails! 🌊
I had the joy of attending the 10th Anniversary World Dog Surfing Championships at beautiful Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California, and it was every bit as magical as you'd imagine.
From first-time surfers like the amazing Golden Retriever Moxie to seasoned wave-riding champions, the beach was filled with incredible dogs, cheering families, and nonstop smiles.
I captured some of my favorite moments to share with fellow dog lovers—proof that sometimes the happiest place on Earth is where paws meet the Pacific! 🏄♂️🐶
Ever tried getting in or out of a wetsuit
without looking like you're wrestling an octopus?
If you've surfed the chilly waters of Northern California, you already know the struggle! After years of van life and writing from the beach, I've witnessed more than a few unforgettable parking-lot wardrobe acrobatics—equal parts athletic event and comedy show.
"Cowabunga Neoprene Bro" is my lighthearted salute to every surfer who's hopped, wiggled, rolled, and laughed their way into a wetsuit, and to the incredible surf dogs who prove that catching waves is always better with a wagging tail.
Hang ten, enjoy the laughs, and remember... sometimes the funniest part of surfing happens before you even reach the water! 🏄♂️🐾
There are moments in life that feel
just a little too magical to be a coincidence.
About a year ago, I stepped out of my van at Rockaway Beach in Pacifica, looked up... and there it was—a breathtaking double rainbow ending right over Lovey's Tea Shop. 🌈🫖
Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure this was an official sign from Heaven: an invitation to Fairy Tea at 3 PM. ✨
If you've been looking for a cozy place to slow down, lift your pinky, and enjoy a proper cup of tea, Lovey's is one of Pacifica's sweetest little treasures.
