🌻 New on the Gratitude Tour
Every once in a while, someone comes into your life without ever meeting you—and somehow changes it for the better.
This newest Gratitude Tour story is my heartfelt thank-you to Anna Runkle, whose compassionate work on healing childhood trauma gave me hope during one of the hardest seasons of my life. It's a story about resilience, courage, and the quiet ways people can change each other's lives.
Whether you've walked your own healing journey or simply believe in the power of kindness, I hope this letter reminds you that one encouraging voice can make all the difference.
In case you need a little smile today...
When all else fails:
✓ Hydrate
✓ Moisturize
✓ Eat protein
✓ Try a yodeling pickle
Life has a funny way of reminding us not to take everything so seriously. Sometimes writer's block, creative blocks, and life's little frustrations don't need to be solved—they just need to be interrupted with a good laugh.
Here's a little Monday moment from the Nomad Kitchen on the Pacific Ocean, where a low-carb fried chicken lunch and a yodeling pickle helped get the creative wheels turning again.

🍓Summer Strawberry Profiteroles🍓
with Vanilla Ice Cream & Chocolate Ganache
Every once in a while a recipe surprises you.
This week in The Nomad Kitchen, I finally tackled one of my culinary bucket-list recipes: classic French pâte à choux pastry. To my delight, the profiteroles emerged from the oven perfectly golden, light, airy, crisp, and beautifully hollow inside—everything a French pastry should be.
For my very first creation, I couldn't resist transforming those delicate pastry shells into an elegant summer dessert. Filled with creamy vanilla ice cream, layered with fresh California strawberries, and draped in rich chocolate ganache, this strawberry shortcake profiterole became one of the most delicious desserts I've ever made.
What I love most about this recipe is its simplicity. A humble French pastry shell becomes the perfect vessel for endless creativity. Whether filled with ice cream, pastry cream, whipped cream, fresh berries, or seasonal fruits, every profiterole becomes its own little masterpiece.
This beautiful dessert marks the beginning of The Nomad Kitchen French Pastry Series, and I have a feeling we're just getting started. Recipe Here!
