Welcome to The Nomad Kitchen—where food is the love language we all understand.
Come on in—don’t mind the flour on the counter or the tattoo in the apron. I’m Tré Taylor, sharing over 25 years of real-life recipes cooked for artists, musicians, wanderers, dreamers, and more than a few unforgettable parties. These dishes have lived everywhere—from French kitchens to Burning Man dust storms—and while some of the photos may have had a little AI glow-up, every recipe is real, tested, and made with a whole lot of heart. 🍲✨
These days, my kitchen doesn’t stay in one place. As a nomadic house and pet sitter traveling up and down the West Coast (and beyond), I find myself cooking in all kinds of spaces—tiny kitchens, beautiful homes, outdoor setups, and the occasional van-side experiment. Each place has its own personality, and I’ve come to love the challenge of creating something delicious wherever I land.
Somewhere along the way, something new began to emerge—something I now call The Traveling Table. It’s a simple idea: set a beautiful table in an unexpected place and share a meal. Sometimes it’s just me and Bleep. Sometimes it’s a guest, a musician, a fellow traveler… and occasionally, it feels like I’m being guided to exactly the right people at exactly the right time. It’s part dinner, part story, part adventure—and always a little bit magical. 🍷🌊
Speaking of magic… I should introduce my sous-chef.
Bleep the Tattoo is a passionate, slightly unhinged culinary assistant with strong opinions, questionable timing, and a vocabulary he’s actively trying to clean up. He’s currently working on his own cooking show, which may or may not require a few Band-Aids along the way. Stay tuned. 🩹🍳
Music is just as important in this kitchen as food. As a professional vocalist and lifelong lyricist, I’ve always believed that cooking with great music makes for happier food. Many of the recipes here have songs, stories, or soundtracks behind them—and with the help of some very fun AI creative tools, we’ve even started building a cast of musical characters who will be joining the Nomad Kitchen along the way.
This project was born out of a season of deep healing, transformation, and learning how to listen to something greater within myself. What started as survival turned into a new way of living—slower, more intentional, more creative. And now, I’m taking these new wings out for a test drive.
The Nomad Kitchen is more than a food blog.
It’s a living story.
A creative experiment.
A table of discovery.
A place where food, music, art, and connection come together—sometimes beautifully, sometimes messily, but always with love.
So whether you’re here for a recipe, a laugh, a song, or a little inspiration…
Pull up a chair.
The Traveling Table is always open.
With love, music, food, art & fun,
Tré Taylor & Bleep the Tattoo
(and a few unexpected guests still making their way to the table…)

🎶Smoked Chicken Wings Of Doom ~ “Is it Tré Hot?”
It all begins with an idea. These aren’t your average spicy wings — they’re a legend born at a glamorous camping trip where one brave woman accidentally unlocked the gates of flavor-hell. “Tré Hot” smoked chicken wings combine a fiery Rub of Doom, apple-kissed hickory smoke, and molten Frank’s Red Hot to create a mouth-watering, tongue-melting feast for the bold. This is extreme barbecue with a soundtrack: a rock anthem called “Tré Hot,” written by chef-songstress Tré Taylor herself, celebrating friends, fire, and the sacred sport of flaming food.
Serve with blue-cheese dressing, ice-cold courage, and maybe a medical professional on speed dial.

Warning: People may ask, “Is it hot… or is it Tré Hot?” 🎸🍗🔥
🎶 Chicken Ricotta Cheese ‘Stuffed with Love’ Portabella Mushrooms
Once upon a sigh in a seaside village, Luca the Melancholic turned heartbreak into haute cuisine. His Luscious Chicken & Ricotta-Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms became the edible embodiment of desire — a golden, garlic-scented miracle baked right into the soul of Amalfi.
Picture this: plump portabellas overflowing with tender chicken, spicy sausage, creamy ricotta, and a flirtation of Jack cheese, basil, tomato, and white wine. It’s part confession, part seduction, and all comfort — the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and forget who you were mad at.
Each bite tastes like love finally saying yes.
Serve it with a sigh, a glass of wine, and someone worth cooking for.
And whatever you do — measure the garlic with your heart.
