🍽 Home of the Traveling Table

Some kitchens stay in one place.

Mine prefers to wander.

Welcome to The Nomad Kitchen Project, a joyful culinary adventure inspired by travel, creativity, music, and the simple pleasure of sharing beautiful food in unexpected places.

At the heart of this project is something I call The Traveling Table — a small table that can appear almost anywhere.

🌊 beside the ocean
🌲 beneath redwood trees
🍇 overlooking vineyards
🌸 tucked inside a garden
🏡 in kitchens while house-sitting
🔥 beside a grill or campfire

Wherever the table appears, beautiful meals happen.

Sometimes it’s just me and my mischievous tattoo sidekick Bleep enjoying the moment.

Other times friends, musicians, artists, travelers, or curious food lovers join the table.

Think of it as a Nomadic Chef’s Table — but without the restaurant.

Just beautiful food, great conversation, and the magic of dining somewhere unexpected.

🍳 Meet Bleep — the Nomad Kitchen’s Star Chef

Every good kitchen needs a fearless chef.
Ours happens to be a tattoo.

Bleep the Tattoo is the Star Chef of the Nomad Kitchen
a bold culinary adventurer who believes great food can be created anywhere.

Over the years he’s picked up skills from French chefs, caterers, and plenty of real-world cooking on the road.

His specialty?

Turning unlikely places into unforgettable kitchens.

Van life. Campgrounds. Beach parking lots. Mountain overlooks.
Sometimes even a van parked slightly sideways on a hill — where cooking becomes part recipe, part gravity experiment.

Bleep loves a challenge, especially when fire is involved. He’s also a loyal supporter of the silicone oven mitt — which, considering he is literally a hand, feels like professional equipment.

Now it’s only fair to mention one small detail.

Bleep lives with a touch of dyspraxia, which means the occasional kitchen mishap may occur. Band-Aids are considered standard equipment.

Still, a little chaos is a small price to pay for the kind of delicious magic that happens when we slow down, cook wherever we are, and create those rare moments that feel like heaven on Earth.

🎶 Cooking With Music

Another essential ingredient in the Nomad Kitchen is music.

As a professional vocalist and lifelong lyricist, music has always been part of my creative life — so it naturally found its way into my kitchen. Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to cook while incredibly talented musicians played nearby in my studio kitchen, turning an ordinary meal into something that felt like a small concert.

Sometimes I even make people sing for their supper.

Fair is fair.

Because when I say “come play with your food,” I don’t mean making a mess.

Cooking can be fun, feel creative, a little playful, and sometimes even theatrical. When the music is good and the laughter is flowing, everything gets better — the conversation, the experience, and yes… even the food.

After all, happier cooks make happier meals.

🌍 The Traveling Table

The Traveling Table is where the Nomad Kitchen comes to life.

It’s a place for discovery.

A table where:

Sometimes the table appears beside the Pacific Ocean.

Sometimes in a quiet forest.

Sometimes inside a stunning house-sitting kitchen.

Wherever the table lands, it becomes a moment worth sharing.

✨ Pull Up a Chair

The Nomad Kitchen Project is still unfolding.

Along the way I meet fascinating people, hear incredible stories, and discover beautiful places where a meal can turn into something unforgettable.

And I look forward to sharing those moments with you.

Whether you’re here for recipes, travel stories, music, or simply the joy of good food…

There’s always room at the table.

So pull up a chair.

The Traveling Table is always open.
