🧚♀️ Fairy Pet Mother’s Midnight Magic Peanut Butter Ganache Cookies
A Friday night in the San Francisco Bay Area turned into a little Fairy Pet Mother magic. While pet sitting sweet Mani in the East Bay, we were running low on his favorite crunchy treats—so a special variety box arrived just in time, and naturally, The Nomad Kitchen decided the humans deserved treats too.
The result? Irresistible peanut butter cookies topped with rich semisweet chocolate ganache and flaky sea salt—chewy in the middle, lightly crisp around the edges, salty, sweet, creamy and ridiculously delicious.
With Mani happily crunching his treats, we put on some music, danced around the kitchen, made a beautiful pot of tea and turned an ordinary Friday night into our own little celebration. NEW YOUTUBE VIDEO STORY HERE, “ONE STOP AWAY.”
This sweet evening also inspired our Fairy Pet Mother video and song—a tiny story about pet sitting, good food, music, companionship and finding magic in the simplest moments.
Because at The Fairy Pet Mother + The Nomad Kitchen, we're becoming increasingly convinced that cookies fix pretty much everything.

From The Nomad Kitchen + The Fairy Pet Mother
Sometimes magic looks like fairy dust.
Sometimes it looks like Amazon Prime arriving with cat treats on a Friday night.
We were getting dangerously low on Manny’s favorite crunchy treats here in the East Bay, and this darling little angel with fur has made one preference very clear: the gentleman likes crunch.
Wet food? He’ll consider the proposal.
Crunchy treats? Now we’re negotiating. 😹
Fortunately, the Fairy Pet Mother has a few tricks up her sleeve. And believe it or not, sometimes ordering a little variety box online is cheaper than running to the grocery store—and you get to introduce your favorite furry client to a few new flavors while you’re at it.
So Manny’s treat situation was handled.
But then I looked around the kitchen.
There was a beautiful big jar of peanut butter.
Chocolate.
Cream.
Butter.
Sugar.
And suddenly I realized:
The humans were going to need treats too.
And that is how Friday night became cookie night.
These turned out to be some of the best peanut butter cookies I’ve made because I pushed the salty-sweet combination just a little further. The cookie itself is tender and chewy in the center with lightly crisp edges, then topped with silky semisweet chocolate ganache and a few delicate flakes of sea salt.
That tiny extra touch of salt changes everything.
You get:
salty… sweet… chewy… creamy… peanut buttery… intensely chocolatey…
And then you immediately understand why peanut butter and chocolate have been happily married for generations.
Serve one—or three—with a beautiful cup of tea or strong coffee.
Because around here, The Fairy Pet Mother and The Nomad Kitchen remain firmly convinced that cookies heal most things.
