A Community Gathering Project

Formerly the West Coast Glamping Community

Originally founded in 2016 as the West Coast Glamping Community, the project began as a way for friends to gather for comfortable camping trips, music jams, and creative escapes in beautiful places. Over time, it has grown into a warm, welcoming community made possible by an incredible core group of talented, generous, fun-loving people whose spirit and support help bring it all to life.

What started as one simple idea has become a shared experience built on friendship, creativity, hospitality, and connection—and we look forward to welcoming more wonderful people into the circle.

The spirit of the Leopard Lounge itself began with a whimsical art project: a Vintage Volkswagen camper bus that Tré painted in bold leopard print. As a jazz singer from the San Francisco Bay Area with a love for playful design and old-school lounge culture, she began bringing the “Leopard Lounge” spirit to festivals and gatherings—creating cozy spaces with music, cocktails, leopard-print décor, and spontaneous jam sessions. The name stuck, and what began as a creative art car experiment slowly evolved into a traveling community gathering.

Like many things in the world, the community paused and evolved during the years surrounding the pandemic. Life changed, priorities shifted, and many of us experienced deep personal transformations. Now, in 2026 and beyond, Leopard Lounge Adventures is returning with a renewed spirit—focusing on smaller, more intentional gatherings that celebrate friendship, creativity, and the simple joy of spending time together.

Leopard Lounge Adventures is a creative community project built around occasional gatherings, shared experiences, and the belief that belonging can be created anywhere.

These gatherings may include:

🏕 Comfortable camping and festival camps
🌊 Beach gatherings and sunset picnics
🧺 Day trips and weekend adventures
🍽 Food explorations and culinary road trips
🚐 Vanlife meetups and travel storytelling
🎨 Creative gatherings for artists, musicians, and curious spirits

Some adventures are simple afternoon meetups. Others may grow into weekend escapes or small group travel experiences.

At the center of many gatherings is the Leopard Lounge Camp—a welcoming pop-up camp and lounge space known for its signature leopard print, relaxed music jams, and beautifully set tables where meals and stories are shared among friends.

The Leopard Lounge is a place where:

Leopard Lounge Adventures is entering a new chapter.

After a few quieter years and many life changes for all of us, it feels like the right time to bring fresh energy back into this community and begin gathering again in simple, meaningful ways.

The idea is to keep things easy and enjoyable—occasional day trips, relaxed weekend escapes, music gatherings, and shared adventures in beautiful places. Some may be close to home, others a little farther down the road.

Speaking of adventures, the next gathering for Leopard Lounge Camp takes place Memorial Day Weekend at the beloved Spring Strawberry Music Festival in Grass Valley, California. Since 1982, Strawberry has been one of the West Coast’s most magical music festivals—a joyful village in the pines where nationally touring artists, acoustic jam circles, workshops, and lifelong friendships come together under the trees.

Our Leopard Lounge VIP Jam Camp is a cozy 20-person community of musicians, food lovers, storytellers, and beautiful weirdos who believe music sounds best around a campfire at midnight.
